New Delhi, August 27 (Ozi news desk): The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has put forth a novel evaluation framework, advocating for the inclusion of students’ academic achievements in Classes 9, 10, and 11 as a determinant of their Class 12 board examination results. This proposal was articulated in a report entitled ‘Establishing Equivalence across Education Boards,’ which was published in July. The document outlines a progressive assessment strategy for Classes 10 and 12, which segments the academic year into two distinct terms. Furthermore, it suggests that the results of the Class 12 board examinations should now reflect the performance metrics from the preceding three classes.
