National Gatka Association to give away three special Gatka Awards

Chandigarh,30-04-2023(Press Ki Taquat)-Three important Gatka Awards established by ‘National Gatka Association of India’ recognized by World Gatka Federation and the oldest registered sports body of Gatka sport in the month of May, various personalities associated with Gatka world, best players and Awards will be presented to the contributing coaches including a saucer, shawl and roll of honour.
Giving this information here today, President of National Gatka Association. Harjit Singh Grewal State Awardee said that these awards for the year 2022 will be presented on May 20 at Chandigarh and a high powered committee has been constituted by the National Gatka Association for the fair selection of these awards.
Giving details about the highest awards, he said that the highest honor of Gatka, ‘Gatka Gaurav Award’, will be given for promoting Sikh Jangju Kala Gatka as a sport, for making a valuable contribution in its promotion and expansion. ‘President Gatka Award’ to the coaches who teach Gatka Gurus according to the rules, organize maximum training/referee camps, produce large number of Gatka players/players, increase the prestige of Gatka in their state and other states. will be honored with Apart from scoring big in national games, inter-varsity competitions, state level competitions and heritage competitions in the category of cricketers, the best players/players who attend maximum cricket coaching camps, referee courses/clinics and refresher courses.
