Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met the people of the Christian community at his residence on the occasion of Christmas. He said that he has a very old and spiritual relationship with the Christian community. He said that the BJP-led government at the Center is ensuring that the benefits of development reach everyone and that no one is left behind. He said, “The people of the Christian community, especially the poor and the people below poverty level, are benefiting from the development happening in the country today.” The Prime Minister said, “On the occasion of Christmas, I I must say one thing for the Christian community that India proudly accepts your contribution to the country.” He said that the Christian community has played an important role in the freedom movement. He said that the Christian community played an important role in guiding the society. This community actively participated in social service. It was always forward to serve the poor. In the field of education and health even today, Christian community organizations in India are making a big contribution all over India.
