A Diwali Mela is being organised by Manasvini, the ladies wing of New Moti Bagh Club on 4th and 5th October 2025 in New Delhi. Shri Muzaffar Ali, filmmaker, fashion designer, painter, poet, and social worker, will mark his presence as the Chief Guest. Cultural performances during the event will feature Shri Rattan Mohan Sharma, renowned Indian classical vocalist and disciple of Pandit Jasraj; Smt Shinjini Kulkarni, a distinguished Kathak dancer and granddaughter of Pandit Birju Maharaj; and Shri Sidhant Bhatia, Indian classical singer, composer, and music producer. The Ministry of Culture, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Border Security Force (BSF) have been invited to participate in the event.
Every year, this event is held in a grand manner by the Manasvini. This year it is being held under the guidance of its President Smt. Madhuchanda Mishra, and Secretary, Smt. Savita Bhutani. The event will take place from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, at Central Park, New Moti Bagh, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi on 4 October and 5 October 2025.
This two-day celebration is one of the most awaited events of the year, bringing together families, friends, and communities in a vibrant atmosphere of festivities, shopping, cultural performances and food. This festive event brings together families, friends, and community members in a vibrant setting filled with culture, shopping, entertainment, and culinary delights.
The event will feature a captivating lineup of distinguished performers, including, Shri Rattan Mohan Sharma, Ms. Shinjini Kulkarni, Shri Siddhant Bhatia. Deep Utsav – Diwali Mela is one of the most awaited celebrations in our community, featuring festive shopping, cuisine, and entertainment, and drawing large participation from residents, guests, and dignitaries. Welfare Societies of the Armed Forces, Paramilitary Forces, and Delhi Police, along with NGOs such as Shikshalaya Foundation and Chhav Foundation. Various organisations working in the fields of environment and health, including Art of Living and others, are also participating.
The event will feature over 130 stalls dedicated to games, food, and shopping. Food stalls will include Taco Bell, Blue Tokai, BTW, Sikkim House, and Tamil Nadu Bhawan. In addition, there will be a curated selection of organic products for food and skincare, and handloom and handicrafts from across India.
It is a platform that brings together tradition, joy, and community engagement in the spirit of Diwali.
