Jalandhar, 18-05-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– Continuing its efforts to provide smooth and timely citizen centric services to the people, the district administration has introduced paperless receipt system in all the service centers of the district.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said the step will save paper used for printing receipts. He said that instructions have been given to immediately implement the paperless receipt system for the fees paid to all the employees working in the service centers.
He also said that if an applicant needs a paper receipt, he can request the same from the service operator and it will be issued to the applicants in need. He urged the people to adopt the paperless receipt system to contribute to this eco-friendly initiative.
Apart from this, three new services have been started in the service centers in Jalandhar. Applicants can apply for high security registration plates, Aadhaar-PAN linking and general typing by paying a nominal fee of Rs 30, 50 and 30 respectively. He urged people to contact their nearest service center to avail these new services.
