Earthquake tremors were felt in Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. There were no reports of any damage due to the earthquake. The epicentre of the quake was in Leh district of Ladakh and Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, the officials said. According to the information, the earthquake occurred at a speed of 4.5 in Ladakh at 4.33 am. The depth of the earthquake was five kilometers below the earth’s surface. People in both Kargil and Leh districts panicked due to the earthquake in the early hours.
