Indian women’s hockey team player and Bhim awardee Navjot Kaur, who has participated in the Olympics twice, will tie the knot with Canadian hockey player Garry Nagpal on February 2nd. Their engagement took place on January 15th with Garry nagpal and now they will get married on February 2nd following Sikh rituals. Garry Nagra, from Canada, is the son of international women’s hockey player Bhupinder Kaur and Ranbir Singh.Former hockey player Bhupinder Kaur from Shahabad has also received the Bhim Award from Haryana. Father Satnam Singh, mother Manjeet Kaur, brother Balkaran Singh, and sister Simranjeet Kaur are very happy about Navjot’s wedding. Navjot Kaur said that she is very happy about her wedding and that many hockey stars will enhance the grandeur of her wedding venue.MS Dhoni has informed the Delhi High Court that the defamation plea filed against him by his former business partners is not maintainable.
Navjot Kaur joined the Indian team in 2011 and began her journey in the sport under the guidance of coach Baldev Singh at SGNP School in Shahabad. She has represented the Indian women’s hockey team in the Olympics in 2016 and 2021, delivering impressive performances and helping the team secure the fourth position in the 2021 Olympics. In addition, Navjot has showcased her talent by winning three Senior World Cups, one Junior World Cup, and two Asian Games. She brought home a silver medal in the 2018 Asian Games and a bronze medal in the 2014 Asian Games. Navjot Kaur has played as a midfielder for the team and has participated in 209 international matches so far. She has been serving the country for 14 years since joining the Indian team in 2011. Currently, Navjot Kaur is appointed as an OSD-Officer on Special Duty at RCF Kapurthala.
