COMPLAINTS RELATED TO RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND PANCHAYATS, AGRICULTURE AND NRIS DEPARTMENT TO BE HEARD ONLINE ONCE A WEEK

Chandigarh, October 15 (Press Ki Taquat Bureau) : Embarking on a unique path as part of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led State Government’s commitment to provide hassle free, transparent and corruption-free services to the people of the state, Rural Development and Panchayats, Agriculture and NRIs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal today held an online Janata Darbar on his Facebook page.

          On the occasion, the Minister heard hundreds of complaints out of which 35 were settled on the spot.

  1. Dhaliwal told that under the instructions given by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to listen and solve their problems by staying in connect with the people, today he heard the complaints of people online on the Facebook page. S. Dhaliwal gave instructions for a solution by calling the concerned officials live on the spot.

          Pointing out further, the Minister emphasised that under the slogan ‘People’s Government at People’s Door’, he is always committed to solving the problems faced by them. He said that while he listens to people’s problems personally, under this unique initiative, one day in a week would be devoted to listening to and resolving complaints of the common masses related to rural development and panchayats, agriculture and the NRIs department. With this, people who cannot come to meet him in person, especially NRI Punjabis will be benefitted in a big way.

          The people thanked the Chief Minister for this special initiative and appealed to the Minister to continue this people connect program.
