Noida,14 Augst 2024 (Ozi News Desk)

The recent remarks made by the District Magistrate of Noida, which referred to Rahul Gandhi in a derogatory manner, have ignited significant public outrage, prompting the Congress party to condemn the statement as “unacceptable.” The comment, which was allegedly posted on the official X account of the Gautam Budh Nagar district magistrate, has led to calls for accountability and disciplinary measures against the official involved. The Congress party has expressed its discontent, emphasizing the need for appropriate action in response to what they deem an inappropriate and disrespectful remark aimed at the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. In response to the backlash, District Magistrate Manish Verma issued a clarification through his official X account, asserting that his identity had been compromised by individuals with malicious intent who misused his credentials to post the offensive comment. He indicated that the matter is being taken seriously, with legal proceedings initiated through the registration of a First Information Report (FIR). Furthermore, he mentioned that the cyber cell is actively investigating the incident to ascertain the facts surrounding the unauthorized post and to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
