In Hoshiarpur, a 24-year-old man lost his life due to a stabbing incident stemming from a monetary dispute.

A 24-year-old individual was reportedly rfatally stabbed in Hoshiarpu due to a minor financial disagreement with a vendor, as confirmed by local authorities on Monday. The victim, identified as Sanjeet Kumar, was engaged in a cleaning contract for the Sabzi Mandi market, charging each vendor a fee of Rs 10 for his services. The tragic incident unfolded on Sunday night when a dispute arose between Kumar and a vendor regarding an outstanding payment of Rs 40-50. What began as a verbal confrontation quickly escalated into violence, resulting in the vendor allegedly stabbing Kumar, which left him critically injured. He was initially taken to a government hospital for treatment but was subsequently transferred to a private facility in Ludhiana, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries the following day.
