Shimla, March 20 (ozi news desk): Pratibha Singh, the Himachal Pradesh Congress president, announced her decision not to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Despite being a sitting MP from Mandi Parliamentary Constituency, she opted out of the race after a screening committee meeting in Delhi.
Singh cited unfavorable circumstances and a lack of enthusiasm among party workers as reasons for her withdrawal. She emphasized the importance of dedicated workers in winning elections and expressed concerns about the party’s chances of success. To focus on saving the government, she highlighted the significance of upcoming by-elections and pledged to address workers’ grievances.
