Chandigarh, October 28 (Press Ki Taquat)- Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Shri Devendra Singh Babli along with officials reached various villages of Tohana Assembly on Saturday morning. He took stock of the ongoing development works in the village. He gave directions to work with speed and high quality in development works. The villagers were surprised to see the cabinet minister among them early in the morning. The common people said that it was the first time that they had seen such a minister who had reached the village with the administration early in the morning.
Development and Panchayat Minister Shri Devendra Singh Babli, while taking stock of the development works in villages Kanhadi, Kamalwala, Baliyawala, Lohakheda, Dangra, Bidhai Kheda, instructed the officials that special attention should be paid to quality in the development works. He said that development works should be completed within the stipulated time period so that the villagers can get benefits on time. He took stock of various development works including the community center being built in the village, e-library, construction of johar under gray water management, village phirni, paved streets and drinking water arrangements.
Shri Babli said that the cooperation of the village people is also necessary to get the development works done in quality. He said that there will be no shortage of funds for the development works of villages. The state government is carrying out development work under the zero tolerance policy of corruption. Continuous work is being done for the all-round development of all the villages of Tohana Assembly. He said that wherever any problem or complaint is raised by the people, it is resolved immediately.
The villagers praised the cabinet minister for his working methodology and style and thanked him. Shri Babli said that today modern facilities like cities are being provided in the villages. Today community centers and parks are being built in the village. An e-library is being created for the youth in the village so that the youth do not have to go to the city to prepare for competitive exams.
