Chandigarh, 01-06-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)- Positive steps have been taken in the direction of restoration of Haryana’s participation in Punjab University, Chandigarh and affiliation of colleges of Haryana state with Punjab University. Under the leadership of Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh Mr. Banwari Lal Parohit, a meeting was held here today with Chief Minister of Haryana Mr. Manohar Lal and Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Mann in a very positive atmosphere.
Mr. Banwari Lal Parohit said that there is a lot of development in the field of education today. All the governments should work for the access of education even to the rural areas. He told both the Chief Ministers that the issue of Punjab University should be taken forward with mutual consent and the issue of affiliation of colleges of Haryana from Punjab University is not a big issue, it is possible to do it. This cooperation of Haryana, Punjab will surely be a good start.
