With tears clouding their vision and emotions running high, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s “ticket-rejects” are finding solace in the company of their supporters as they express their feelings of betrayal. Among them, Congress general secretary Deepak Babaria appears to have joined this wave of sentiment, seemingly overwhelmed by his own inability to meet the expectations of party workers. The scene is heavy with emotion as figures like Bishamber Singh Balmiki, the sitting Minister of State for Social Justice from Bawani Kheri, and former Minister Kavita Jain from Sonepat, along with ex-BJP MLA Naresh Kaushik from Bahadurgarh, and others like Sashi Ranjan Parmar and Deepak Dagar, openly weep over the loss of their party tickets for the upcoming assembly elections. Their breakdowns are particularly poignant during worker gatherings, highlighting the deep disappointment felt within the party ranks. Adding to the emotional turmoil, Aditya Chautala, the former chairman of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, recently left the BJP after being denied a ticket and joined the Indian National Lok Dal, where he was seen shedding tears at a gathering in Chautala village, further illustrating the intense feelings of loss and disillusionment that are sweeping through these political circles.
