Rohtak, June 26 (Ozi news desk): Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that the state government will introduce a new law to provide an additional five marks to candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in job exams, if the review petition does not yield any favorable results. Saini emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supports the marginalized sections of society and had implemented a policy to grant extra marks. However, the policy was challenged by the Congress party in the high court and subsequently struck down. Despite approaching the Supreme Court, the government did not receive a favorable verdict. Therefore, the Chief Minister expressed the intention to pass a law to assist these candidates if the review petition does not provide the desired relief. Saini made these remarks during a state-level ceremony at Maharshi Dayanand University, where plot allotment letters were distributed to beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana. The event was also held simultaneously in Yamunanagar, Palwal, Sirsa, and Mahendragarh, with a total of 15,250 beneficiaries receiving allotment letters.
