Chandigarh, 20-05-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the state government has declared the year 2023 as Antyodaya Arogya year and the government’s effort is to keep Antyodaya families fit and healthy. Therefore, the Chief Minister of Good Governance should play his role in ensuring the implementation of the related scheme on the ground.
The Chief Minister held a meeting with the governance colleagues late yesterday and guided them and said that in the direction of making the citizens healthy, the state government is building a park-cum-gym on 2 acres of land in each village. So far 650 park-cum-gyms have been constructed. Apart from this, a target of 1000 more park-cum-gyms has been set for this year. Later, wellness centers will also be established here and doctors will be appointed in them, who will educate the villagers about health and nutrition.
He said that the CMGGA should establish these parks-cum-gyms, monitor the facilities provided in them along with the presence of villagers and other activities so that speedy implementation on the ground can be ensured. Apart from this, the government is also considering setting up Jhandore gyms and open gyms in the village.
The Chief Minister said that to make the drug addiction campaign successful in the state, the government will set up drug addiction centers in the state. The help of Sant Samaj will also be taken in this work and most of the drug addiction centers will be run by Sant Samaj. He ordered the CMGGA to monitor the existing government and private de-addiction centers in the state.
The Chief Minister said that in the last 8 and a half years, the state government has launched many schemes for the welfare of the citizens, which may have never been launched before. Under these schemes, the governance partners should help in providing details of services to the eligible beneficiaries with ease and transparency and not closely monitoring at all levels.
CMGGA informed the Chief Minister that under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Uthan Yojana, efforts will be made to invite maximum number of Antyodaya families in the ongoing Antyodaya Melas in the fourth phase and provide employment. Along with this, the Chief Minister said that to prepare a list of such families, whose SIBAL scores are bad, they are facing difficulty in getting loans from banks. The government is also considering to correct the SIBAL scores of such beneficiaries, so that the goal of economic progress of the needy families can be met.
CMGGA informed the Chief Minister that during the first 2 months, as per his orders, a work plan has been prepared to measure the Happiness Index to make the lives of the citizens happy like in Bhutan. According to this work plan, people will be surveyed on the basis of pilot project in 4 districts of Ambala, Faridabad, Karnal and Hisar.
The Chief Minister said that the family identity card data has revealed that there are more than 80-year-olds in the state, who are living alone. The Senior Citizen Service Ashram Yojana has been made for the care of these senior citizens. He said that the government has assigned the task of constructing bus queue shelters on each route to the district council in the villages. CMGGA to coordinate with District Councils to set targets and monitor them continuously.
The Chief Minister also guided the CMGGA on the implementation of the government’s flagship schemes including Swamitv Yojana (Urban and Rural), Meri Fasal Mera Beura, Super-100, Basic Programme. In the meeting, CMGGA said that during the first 2 months, they conducted field study of Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Uthan Yojana, E Adhigam Yojana, Model Sanskrit School, Nirogi Haryana, Gram Darshan and Nagar Darshan Potral and Amrit Sarovar Yojanas in the field and these Worked to solve the difficulties and challenges in the implementation of the by establishing coordination with the Deputy Commissioners.
