Chandigarh, January 13
The Government of Punjab has invited applications from distinguished individuals with impeccable integrity, high caliber, and administrative experience to fill the vacant position of Chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of Punjab Government said that as per the eligibility criteria, the applicants must have held office for at least 10 years under the Government of India or the Government of State. Additionally, they should be less than 62 years of age on the date of issue of public notice in this regards. Candidates who have applied against the advertisement dated 26.11.2024, 14.12.2024 and 24.12.2024 need not to apply again.
The interested applicants are required to submit their complete bio-data, including an undertaking, to the office of Secretary Personnel, Government of Punjab (PP-3 Branch), Room No. 14, 6th floor, Punjab Civil Secretariat, Sector 1, Chandigarh. The deadline for submission of applications is 5:00 PM on March 15, 2025.
A Search Committee headed by the Chief Secretary, will shortlist the names of eligible candidates. These names will then be considered by the High-Powered Committee, chaired by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
