America, 08-05-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– Former US President Donald Trump’s problems are not diminishing. Donald Trump is facing charges of raping a woman in the 1990s. US President Donald Trump will not testify in a civil lawsuit challenging claims made by author Jean Carroll.
US District Judge Lewis Kaplan asked Tacopina to inform Trump that he had until 5pm (local time) on Sunday to tell the court if he wanted to testify. Judge Lewis scheduled closing arguments from both sides on Monday.
Carroll, 79, filed a lawsuit against Trump last year, claiming he raped her in a dressing room at a Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan in 1995 or 1996. He alleged that Trump has damaged his image as well.
It is worth noting that Trump served as president from 2017 to 2021 and is the frontrunner in the race for the Republican US presidential nomination in 2024.
