uploaded on: 24-04-2024 ,(OZI NEWS DESK) In Tokyo, the 10th Round of India-Japan Consultations on Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Export Control took place, where top officials from both countries engaged in discussions regarding the advancements in disarmament and non-proliferation in the nuclear, chemical, and biological domains. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that the exchange of views also encompassed outer space security, non-proliferation concerns, conventional weapons, and export control. The Indian delegation, led by Muanpuii Saiawi, Joint Secretary (Disarmament and International Security Affairs) from the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Japanese delegation, led by Katsuro Kitagawa, Director General for Disarmament, Non-proliferation and Science Department, actively participated in the consultations.
