Today, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal conducted a thorough examination of the preliminary report prepared by the sub-committee on the Noormahal sewerage problem, as per the instructions of the Estimate Committee of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. During the review, he provided clear instructions to the relevant officials, urging them to submit a comprehensive and detailed report within the specified timeframe. During a review meeting held at the District Administrative Complex, the Deputy Commissioner announced that a sub-committee had been formed by the Estimate Committee to carry out a collaborative survey on the matter of the sewerage system in Noormahal and the functioning of the sewage treatment plant (STP). In accordance with the instructions given, the sub-committee successfully conducted the survey and has now prepared a comprehensive report on the findings. The Deputy Commissioner further stated that the report had undergone a thorough review by the sub-committee members, and they have been directed to submit the report to the DC office within the specified timeframe. This will enable the report to be submitted to the Estimate Committee in a timely manner for further consideration and action.In attendance at the meeting were several notable individuals, including CA GLADA Sandeep Rishi, PWSSB Executive Engineer Jatin Vasudeva, SDO Sandeep Sharma, and Yadwinder Singh from the Public Health Department, among others.
