Chandigarh, 27-04-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Mr. Dushyant Chautala said that in the future, water-treatment process equipped with new and modern technology will be adopted in all the new industries that will be set up in the state. Our endeavor will be to move IMT Sohna, ATM Kharkhoda and Dream Project Global Misty towards zero liquid discharge and make the water there reusable.

The Deputy CM was addressing the second day of the water seminar organized under Amrit Jal Kranti today as the chief guest.

Mr. Dushyant Chautala said that there is a need to take steps in the direction of updating the old infrastructure built for drainage of sewage and rain water from the industrial area. He urged the officials of the department to fix the sewerage system of the industrial area of the old Rohtak city through new technology on a pilot basis so that the water can be reused.

He also referred to the technology being used in Maharashtra’s Latur district to revive dead borewells. He suggested the experts of the state to work in the direction of implementing the project of repairing the dead-borewell in Faridabad in the whole state. He discussed the construction of natural lakes in the state and asked that at least one pilot project in the field of water conservation should be set up in all the districts of the state so that people can be motivated based on their results. .

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Dushyant Chautala congratulated the officials for organizing this kind of seminar for the first time in the state and said that considering the environmental conditions, water conservation is needed for the future more than roads and electricity. He said that the state government is working in the field of water treatment and water conservation.

Citing the slogan of Jal Hi Jeevan Hai as an example, he said that in the absence of comprehensive management of water, water crisis has started, cities have to supply water by tankers. While giving information about the best water management of countries like Singapore, Korea and UAE, he said that he hoped that good lessons would come from this water seminar and then Haryana would become a role model in water management by preparing the vision. will emerge
