Due to dense fog in Delhi, while road traffic was adversely affected, rail and air traffic were also affected. 22 trains coming to Delhi are running behind schedule. 134 domestic and international flights at Delhi airport were delayed due to fog and left for their destination. 35 international flights departed from Delhi late, while 28 international flights also arrived late. On the other hand, the departure of 43 domestic flights and the arrival of 28 were delayed. In Patiala, Ambala, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Palam, Bareilly, Lucknow, Varanasi and Gwalior visibility is less than 30 meters due to dense fog. The Meteorological Department has also warned of dense fog in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi in the early morning and late evening till December 31.
