New Delhi, 28-02-23 (Press Ki Taquat Bureau): After three years Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) will celebrate Delhi Fateh Day at Red Fort. Preparations for this program to be held from April 6 to 9 have been started. Along with taking out a special march on this occasion, Nagar Kirtan and Khalsai Khel Gatka will be held. GSGMC president Harmeet Singh Kalka said that the program could not be held in the previous years due to the corona epidemic. This time there will be a program with pomp. The office-bearers of the committee have decided the outline of the program after holding a meeting with Baba Balbir Singh, the head of Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal Fifth Takht. This program has been held since 2014 to commemorate the victory of the Sikhs under the leadership of Baba Jassa Singh Ramgarhia, Baba Jassa Singh Ahluwalia and Baba Baghel Singh at the Red Fort by defeating the Mughal ruler. Kalka said that this year is the 300th birth anniversary of Baba Jassa Singh Ramgarhia. It is also the 200th martyrdom day of former Jathedar Phula Singh of Akal Takht Sahib. This time this program will be dedicated to these two warriors. DSGMC General Secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said that during the program Sangat will be able to see the ancient weapons of Guru Sahib. Nagar Kirtan will be performed from Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Ramgarhia Bunga in Amritsar on April 6. Nagar Kirtan will reach Delhi on April 7, passing from different places of Punjab.
