Delhi Police filed an FIR on Tuesday under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Explosives Act following the explosion near the Red Fort that resulted in nine fatalities, according to officials.
Delhi Police are conducting raids at various sites across the national capital, which has been placed on high alert. Enhanced security measures are in effect, with close monitoring at the airport, railway stations, and bus terminals.
A senior police official has confirmed that a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed at the Kotwali police station, invoking the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Explosives Act, and various sections of the BNS.
– An FIR has been filed under Sections 16 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), which pertain to the penalties associated with terrorist activities and the conspiracy to commit such acts. – On Monday evening, a powerful explosion occurred in a slow-moving vehicle at a traffic signal close to the Red Fort metro station.
