Chandigarh, June 19 (Ozi news desk): In a recent incident that occurred in Chennai’s Besant Nagar, another hit-and-run case involving a prominent individual has come to light, just weeks after the tragic Porsche accident in Pune. The incident took place on Monday night when Madhuri, the daughter of Jagan Reddy’s party MP Beeda Masthan Rao, was driving a BMW with a friend. Shockingly, they allegedly ran over a 24-year-old painter who was sleeping on the pavement.
The victim, identified as Surya, was immediately rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. Upon further investigation, the police discovered that the car involved in the hit-and-run belonged to the BMR (Beeda Masthan Rao) Group and was registered in Puducherry. Madhuri was subsequently arrested, but surprisingly, she was granted bail right at the police station itself, as reported by NDTV. It is worth noting that Beeda Masthan Rao, who became a Rajya Sabha MP in 2022, has also served as an MLA.
