Chandigarh, September 27 (Press Ki Taquat Bureau)- On the first day of Narataan, the residents of Ambala, named after Maa Amba, got a blessing today when Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone of Ambala’s first domestic airport. Congratulating and best wishes on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the establishment of an airport in Ambala will increase investment and industry in the region, which will create more employment opportunities.

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, Home and Health Minister Anil Vij and MP Karthikeya Sharma were also present on this occasion.

Mr. Manohar Lal said that the terminal will be built on 20 acres of land which will cost about 20 and a half crore rupees. It will not take much time for the airport to start operations after the terminal is built as the investment and other arrangements are already in place. He said that till now this air force station of Ambala was not a civil airport. But now the idea came that a civil airport will be built here, then its benefit will probably be much more than the other small airports.

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi had launched the country’s common citizen (Udran) scheme which aimed to enable air travel even by a wearer of air slippers. First of all, we will reap the benefits of this flight plan from Ambala.

He said that Haryana government has applied for routes under Udhan Yojana. Soon we will get approval. Some of the routes like Dehradun, Lucknow, Amritsar, Jaipur, Shimla are expected to get immediate approval. This is going to bring great convenience to the people of Ambala and its nearby districts.

The Chief Minister, while congratulating and wishing Maharaja Agarsen on his birth anniversary, said that the Maharaja Lagarsen International Airport is also being developed in Hisar. Work has been going on for 3 consecutive years and soon by the end of this year or the beginning of next year some activity will be started from the Usa airport.

He said that Haryana should be seen from the air although there was no such airport in Shru which was on the land of Haryana. But we are gradually advancing in the aviation sector. He said that the development of Gurugram has been possible only because of its proximity to Delhi Airport. With this thought, the government has planned to develop a big airport in Hisar. Similarly, Jewar Airport will also benefit from it. Faridabad district will get the most benefit and there will be progress there as well.

He said that Chandigarh airport in which 50 percent of Haryana also belongs to us, but its influence area is only from Panchkula to Ambala. But for Chandigarh also, this airport of Ambala will serve as a support. Similarly small airports like Karnal, Bhiwani, Narnaul, Sirsa are present in Haryana which are benefiting the citizens.

Karnal to Yamunanagar railway line approved

Mr. Manohar Lal said that regarding infrastructure, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi says that whether it is rail, road, air travel, until it is constructed, the fruits of development will reach far down. In this direction, the rail network is also being strengthened. Karnal to Yamunanagar rail line has also been approved. Not only this, the central government has also approved the new national highway in Haryana. About 50 to 60 thousand crores worth of projects have been approved by the Central Government for Haryana. Many of these have become highways and many are under construction.

He said that the 152D highway connects Ambala to Kotputli. Earlier the journey which used to take 10 hours is now completed in 5 to 6 hours. Not only this, people are also getting a lot of benefits from Ambala’s Western Bypass. Eastern Bypass of Ambala has also been sanctioned on this line.

Haryana ranks first in per capita income among large states.

The Chief Minister said that today the citizen of Haryana is getting good employment as compared to other states of the country. Living a good life. This can be estimated from the fact that Haryana is ahead of the country in terms of per capita income among the major states of the country. is Per capita income in Haryana is Rs 2 lakh 95 thousand.
