Porbandar, September 3 (Ozi news desk): On Tuesday, officials reported that three crew members are unaccounted for following a helicopter crash involving the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) in the Arabian Sea near the Porbandar coast in Gujarat during a rescue mission. The incident took place late Monday night, as detailed in a statement from the ICG. Out of the four crew members aboard the advanced light helicopter (ALH), one was successfully rescued, while efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining three. The ICG explained that on September 2, 2024, their ALH helicopter was dispatched at 11 PM to assist an injured crew member from the Motor Tanker Hari Leela, but unfortunately, it had to make an emergency hard landing and ended up in the sea.
