It has come to notice that certain sections of the media are reporting that the membership of Privileges Committee of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha of Sardar Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, MLA, has been rejected.
In this regard, an official spokesperson of Punjab Vidhan Sabha clarified that these reports are incorrect. The Member of Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sardar Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, had requested to be nominated to another committee instead of the Privileges Committee.
In view of his request, the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan has nominated him as a member of the Government Assurances Committee of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. An official notification regarding this change is being issued.
