Chandigarh , October 9 (Press Ki Taquat)- In the meeting of High Power Purchase Committee (HPCC), High Power Works Purchase Committee (HPWPC) and Departmental High Empowered Committee (DHPPC) held here today under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal, Rs. 164 crores . Contracts of more than and approval for purchase of various items was given . After negotiation with various bidders in the meeting, about 29 crores of rupees have been saved by fixing the rates .
In the meeting, Transport Minister Mulchand Sharma , Energy Minister Ranjit Singh , Cooperation Minister Dr. Banwari Lal , Development and Panchayat Minister Devendra Singh Babli and Minister of State for Labor Anup Dhanak were also present .
In the High Power Purchase Committee meeting, 29 agendas for irrigation, CRID , Police , Haryana Power Transmission Corporation Limited (HVPNL) , North Haryana Power Distribution Corporation , Public Health Engineering Department , Sugarfed , Development and Panchayat Vibhavas , 7 agendas in DHPPC and High Power A total of 20 agendas including irrigation, public works ( buildings and roads) were kept in the Works Purchase Committee and approval was given to all the agendas .
In the meeting, permission was given to construct 48 type- II and 24 type- III three-storied houses in Old Police Line , Hisar by Haryana Police Housing Corporation . Apart from this , contracts were also approved for installation of street lights in villages , purchase of 63 KVA transformer , PP bags for sugar feed , provision of fiber internet service in villages under Bharatnet project . Also , the purchase of 36 sewage cleaning machines of 2 thousand liter capacity was approved . Cleaning of sewage will be ensured by going to smaller streets .
The contracts approved in the meeting mainly include making Hisar- Balsmad road 4 lanes, strengthening work of Uchana to Litani road , construction of Yanik school in district Riwari , residential buildings in Gothra , Tappakhori , Jamalpur village of district Gurugram. The works include providing sewerage facilities , improvement of sewage treatment plant and water supply and strengthening of roads in Sector-1, 2 and 3 of Industrial Growth Centre, Saha Ambala .
