According to the weather forecast issued by the Weather Center Chandigarh on Wednesday, light rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Punjab on the first day. At some places, winds can blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour. There is also a possibility of hail during this time. While on March 24, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in the northern parts of Punjab, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur districts and surrounding areas.
