Kolkata, August 23 (Ozi news desk): The psychological evaluation of Sanjay Roy, the individual apprehended in connection with the rape and murder of a female doctor at the state-operated RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, revealed troubling characteristics, including a pronounced perversion and a significant addiction to pornography, as reported by a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer on Thursday. According to insights provided by specialists from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in New Delhi, the accused, who served as a civic volunteer for the Kolkata Police, exhibited what was described as an “animal-like instinct.” The lifeless body of the post-graduate trainee was discovered in a seminar room within the hospital premises on August 9, with the arrest of the civic volunteer occurring the following day. The CBI official noted that the suspect displayed a complete lack of remorse, recounting the events of the crime in meticulous detail without any signs of emotional disturbance, which further underscored his apparent indifference to the gravity of his actions.
