The court of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Gurpinder Singh Johal Sunam has sentenced nine persons, including Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, to two years imprisonment under various sections and fined five thousand rupees. One of them, Manjit Singh, has died. Giving information in this regard, senior advocates Tejpal Bhardwaj and Sushil Kumar Vashisht Sunam said that Rajinder Deepa, who is currently in charge of Sunam constituency of Shiromani Akali Dal, filed a complaint with the police in 2008 that Aman Arora and his associates had forcibly entered his house and beaten him up and the police did not take any action in this matter. After that they knocked the door of the court. While hearing this case that lasted for about 15 years, today, the court of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Gurpinder Singh Johal, apart from Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, Mata Prameshwari Devi, Rajinder Raja Birkalan, Satgur Singh Namol, Kuldeep Sheron, Chitwant Singh, Jagjeevan Ram Lucky, Baljinder Singh And Labh Singh Nilowal has been sentenced to two years under Section 452 IPC and one year under Section 323 IPC. On this occasion, Rajinder Deepa said that of course this decision has been pronounced by the honorable court after 15 years. He said that God’s house is late, not dark. They tried to enter the house and occupy it. My case was not even registered by the police at that time. On this occasion, Rajinder Singh Raja Birkal said that this is a family dispute. For 14-15 years we have been pushing. We are going through a period of trouble. They had an earlier agreement. I have nothing to do with this fight we are having. He said that he will appeal this decision in the higher court. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that we have as much faith as God in the judicial system of the country. Attempts were made by Rajinder Deepa to injure my mother by locking her inside, under which a 308 slip was also filed. Agreement was reached before 2012, but when I got the ticket, they ran away from the agreement and the case was also withdrawn by us. It may be mentioned that the plaintiff Rajinder Kumar Deepa is the brother-in-law of Cabinet Minister Aman Arora.
