Ira Khan’s wedding reception on Saturday night was a star-studded event, with some of the biggest names in the film industry coming together to celebrate. Among the guests was Taare Zameen Par’s Ishaan Awasthi, also known as Darsheel Safary, who is Aamir Khan’s favorite student. Darsheel looked dashing in a blue blazer and matching pants. Actress Tisca Chopra, who shared the screen with Aamir Khan in Taare Zameen Par, also attended the reception in a stunning range saree. She later posted pictures from the night, with our favorite being the third frame featuring Ishaan, Darsheel, and Tisca together. Tisca captioned the picture, “Swipe to see what happens 15 years down.” Darsheel expressed his love by dropping heart emojis in the comment section. It’s worth mentioning that Tisca Chopra played Darsheel’s mother in Taare Zameen Par.
Last year Darsheel Safary addressed the misconception surrounding his presence in the entertainment industry. The 26-year-old expressed, “While I prioritized completing my studies and pursuing theater, many assumed that I had abandoned acting. They believed that I had left the film industry behind. However, only a few were aware that I was dedicated to honing my skills and putting in hard work. To be honest, my journey was far from effortless, and success did not come easily. I made a conscious decision to never take shortcuts. After spending years in theater, it was during the pandemic that I felt the urge to return to the screen, prompting me to start auditioning. Even then, it hasn’t been smooth sailing, as I would only succeed in a couple of auditions out of a hundred. Nevertheless, I assure you that I gave my utmost effort in all the tests.”
