Gandhinagar, Gujarat, JANUARY 29,2024 (ozi news desk):

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s drama film ‘OMG 2’ and c jointly won the Best Story Award at the 69th Filmfare Awards 2024, held on Sunday. In this event held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, both films surpassed films like ‘Bhed’, ‘Jawan’, and ‘Rauki Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ to win the prestigious award. Directed by Amit Rai, ‘OMG 2’ was based on sex education and featured Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi in lead roles. The film was released in August 2023 and faced tough competition with Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’. In the film, Akshay portrayed the character of Lord Shiva’s messenger. It is the sequel to the 2012 film ‘OMG: Oh My God!’ starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has certified the film.
