DEPARTMENTAL LETTER ISSUED REGARDING APRON IMPLEMENTATION

The Punjab Government has taken a unique decision regarding the uniform of Anganwadi workers and helpers. Now Anganwadi workers and helpers will wear red ICDS logo with pink and sky colour while performing their services.
Divulging in this regard, Social Security Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that the state government has issued red color ICDS logo with baby pink apron for Anganwadi workers and red color ICDS logo with sky blue apron for helpers.
She said that with this, Anganwadi workers and helpers can be identified easily, along with this, the services provided by them will be improved.
The Minister further added that a letter has been issued to all the district program officers of the state, instructing them to ensure strict compliance of decision of the state government.
