The Home Minister, Anil Vij, has assured that the government will guarantee peace in the state and prevent any disruptions in response to the farmers’ call for a march to Delhi on February 13. He mentioned that forces from the Centre have been requested to maintain peace.
When asked about conferring the Bharat Ratna on former Prime Ministers Chaudhary Charan Singh, PV Narasimha Rao, and agricultural scientist Dr MS Swaminathan, Vij stated that the BJP has honored those who were previously ignored by previous governments.
