Proactive measures taken to safeguard children of state

Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur has instructed all District Program Officers in the state to move Anganwadi centres, Creche centres, and Training centres to safe buildings. She emphasized that the department is dedicated to the holistic development of children.
The Cabinet Minister said officials to identify and convert unsafe buildings among the Anganwadi Centres, Creche Centres and Training Centres in Punjab into secure structures as swiftly as possible, thereby preventing any unfortunate incidents.
Furthermore, the minister instructed district officials to coordinate with their respective Deputy Commissioners to take necessary actions regarding the repair of centre buildings.
Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is unwavering in its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
