An official of the airline has informed news agency ANI about this. That a passenger on board has died. According to a statement, flight 6E-1736 was diverted due to a medical emergency, but one passenger on board died. That the aircraft was traveling from Delhi to Doha, Qatar and was diverted to Karachi, Pakistan. The airline said it is working with the relevant authorities to make arrangements for the transfer of other passengers on board. Also, IndiGo said in a statement that we are deeply saddened by the news of the passenger’s death and our prayers and best wishes are with his family and loved ones.
