Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s most awaited film of the year 2025, Housefull 5 has been released in theaters on June 6. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, this comedy-drama is the fifth installment of the popular Housefull series. This is Akshay’s sixth film with Riteish Deshmukh. According to a report by Saccanilk, Housefull 5 collected 24 crores in India. Whereas the worldwide movie’s earnings are Rs 40.75 crores. With a foreign collection of 12 crores, Housefull 5 has surpassed Vicky Kaushal starrer Chawa and recorded the highest overseas collection of the year.

What is the story of Housefull 5
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the story is based on a cruise ship, where after a billionaire announces that his property will be given to his heir Jolly. Later, a murder takes place which shakes up everything. The story takes a new turn when three men named Jolly, played by Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan, appear on the ship. They also have their own girlfriends.
