Chandigarh, 06-06-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)- Haryana Urban Local Government Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta said that the government is continuously taking steps to make every city in the state ‘Clean City-Safe City’. | In this regard, a special campaign should be conducted to sensitize the people about waste collection and segregation by going door to door.
Dr. Kamal Gupta was presiding over a review meeting convened by all Municipal Corporation Commissioners, District Municipal Corporation Commissioners and officials of the Urban Local Government Department at Haryana Niwas here today.
Dr. Gupta directed the officials to carry out beautification and repair of roads, parks, crematoriums, ‘marking of parking’ door to door collection, segregation and disposal, regularization of irregular colonies, property tax, property ID and Chief Minister Focusing entirely on the urban body. Ownership planning works, only then we can achieve the goal of ‘Clean City-Safe City’.
He instructed the officials to conduct a special campaign to correct property tax and property ID and for this, make camps in public places to inform the people. Advertisements should be displayed on smart boards at various places so that maximum number of people can get information about the scheme. Property data of all 88 urban bodies of the state has been made live on the portal. Residents of cities can check their properties.
