New Delhi, May 6 (Ozi news desk):  Abhishek Bachchan has been confirmed to star in the upcoming comedy film ‘Housefull 5’, as announced by the makers on Monday. The actor, who was previously seen in the third installment of the franchise, will be joining the already revealed cast members Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh in this new movie.

Tarun Mansukhani, the director known for films like ‘Dostana’ and ‘Drive’, will be at the helm of ‘Housefull 5’. The production banner expressed their excitement about Bachchan rejoining the Housefull family and shared the news on social media.

The Housefull series began with the release of ‘Housefull’ in 2010, followed by three successful sequels – ‘Housefull 2’ in 2012, ‘Housefull 3’ in 2016, and ‘Housefull 4’ in 2019.

‘Housefull 5’ is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and the production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment made the announcement about Abhishek Bachchan’s casting on their official social media page.
