Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Jyoti Yatra’ in Gurugram
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Mr. Amit Shah launched the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Jyoti Yatra’ in the cyber city of Gurugram on Wednesday under the Sewa Sankalp Campaign. Handing over the torch of the Yatra to Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah conveyed a message encouraging active participation in steering the state forward on the path of development and building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
On this occasion, at the state-level event organized in Gurugram, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Mr. Amit Shah, Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, present public representatives, and thousands of youths listened live to the address of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Addressing the countrymen on the completion of 25 years of his public life, the Prime Minister called for public participation in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat with dedication toward service, good governance, and nation-building.
The program was attended by Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Minister Gaurav Gautam, BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta, former Union Minister Smriti Irani, BJP Parliamentary Board member Dr. Sudha Yadav, Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar, Pataudi MLA Bimla Choudhary, Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma, along with other dignitaries.
Addressing the state-level event, Mr. Amit Shah said that the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s public life is a golden and epoch-making chapter in the history of Indian democracy. He noted that during these 25 years, Mr. Narendra Modi has continuously served the nation and crores of citizens as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.
Mr. Amit Shah remarked that October 7 holds special significance in the history of Indian democracy. A person born into a poor family set a record by leading the country for 25 years as Chief Minister and Prime Minister through his capability, talent, and by bringing crores of people along. These 25 years of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s public life will be etched in history in golden letters.
The Union Home Minister stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the country has achieved numerous major accomplishments over the past 25 years. He highlighted achievements such as eradicating poverty, building a secure India, abrogation of Article 370, eliminating Naxalism, construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and elevating national infrastructure to new heights. He mentioned that poor-welfare initiatives achieved significant success by pulling 25 crore people out of poverty.
Mr. Amit Shah stated that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s 25 years have been 25 years of poor welfare, India’s pride, and national progress. The ‘Sewa Jyot Yatra’ has been organized to commemorate these 25 years of service and accomplishments. The objective of this Yatra is to honor the country’s development and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s 25 years of selfless service through public participation. He urged the youth to actively contribute toward nation-building and realizing the goal of a Viksit Bharat.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini walked along the major roads of Gurugram and established the Yatra’s torch near Signature Tower. Handing the torch over to the youth, he called for their active involvement in building a Viksit Bharat. The Yatra commenced with the Viksit Bharat Sabha, in which thousands of young people enthusiastically participated.
Delivering a message on realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat, Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini said that the development of the nation and state becomes meaningful only when better facilities reach every individual, making people’s lives happy, prosperous, and problem-free.
