Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, while announcing measures to boost tourism and pilgrimage, declared that a grand Circuit House will be constructed in the southern part of Brahmasarovar in Kurukshetra at a cost of ₹120 crore.
On Thursday, the Chief Minister was addressing the gathering at the ‘Aashirwad da Diwa’ (Lamp of Blessings) and blood donation program organized under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ at Purushottampura Bagh located at the sacred Brahmasarovar in Kurukshetra. On this occasion, the Chief Minister visited the blood donation camp, encouraged the donors, and honored them. He flagged off two Medical Mobile Units, inspected the rangoli created at the venue, lit the ‘Aashirwad da Diwa’ at Brahmasarovar, and participated in the Maha-Aarti. Around 125,000 lamps were lit across Brahmasarovar. The Chief Minister also witnessed a spectacular drone show depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and major welfare schemes launched by the Modi government.
The Chief Minister stated that the Haryana government is continuously working to modernize healthcare facilities, promote safe blood donation, and ensure the quality of blood bank services. Haryana is the first state in North India to introduce Single Donor Platelets for dengue patients in government hospitals. Platelet centers and blood collection infrastructure have been strengthened across the state, achieving blood collection figures beyond the set targets.
He emphasized that service is the foundation for strengthening society and the nation. Blood donation is a humanitarian act that can save a needy person’s life. Encouraging the donors, he urged every healthy individual in society to step forward for this noble cause.
He further noted that Medical Mobile Units have been launched to bring healthcare services closer to the public. Each unit will feature a team consisting of a doctor, staff nurse, and pharmacist, providing regular healthcare and essential testing facilities near people’s homes.
The Chief Minister remarked that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has transformed governance from a medium of authority into a platform for public service, guiding the nation toward service, good governance, and development over the past 25 years. Inspiring from this spirit, the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ in the state is not merely a government program, but a mass movement for service, health, sanitation, public participation, and development.
He added that launching the campaign on the Prime Minister’s birthday makes it deeply meaningful. Under PM Modi’s leadership, India is advancing rapidly toward the vision of Viksit Bharat-2047. Combining modern technology with human service accelerates development, a synergy evident in today’s event.
Paying homage to Lord Vishwakarma, he noted that Lord Vishwakarma symbolizes creation, craftsmanship, knowledge, and science, while PM Modi over the past 12 years has propelled the construction of a modern and strong India, raising the nation’s global prestige.
Blood Donation: A Living Example of Gita’s Karma Yoga
The Chief Minister highlighted that the event took place on the holy land of Brahmasarovar in Kurukshetra, where Lord Krishna delivered the divine message of Srimad Bhagavad Gita, inspiring selfless duty without worrying about results. Blood donors embody this spirit of Karma Yoga, as their selfless act saves lives without discrimination based on caste or religion.
He mentioned that the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will run until October 17, delivering service, health, and development across Haryana beyond politics. Marking October 7, 2026, as the completion of PM Modi’s 25 glorious years in public governance (2001–2026), he noted that true leadership lies in serving the people rather than exercising authority.
Concluding his address, the Chief Minister reiterated that Indian culture teaches us to treat the people’s joys and sorrows as our own, adhering to the scriptures’ philosophy that “Service to humanity is service to God.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi lives by this principle, standing steadfastly with the poor, farmers, youth, women, and every section of society.
