On this auspicious occasion, married women observed a day-long fast, praying for the long life, happiness, and well-being of their husbands. From the early hours of the morning, women commenced this ritual with unwavering faith, and after sunset, they offered prayers to the moon and broke their fast through the hands of their husbands.
In the evening, in accordance with traditional customs, women received blessings from priests and revered spiritual leaders, infusing the atmosphere with colors of devotion and love. Everywhere, the festive mood was enhanced by vibrant decorations, intricate rangoli designs, the sweet aroma of delicacies, and melodious music, making the celebration even more radiant and joyous.
