Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee , disclosed that today a significant meeting was convened by the Cabinet Ministers of Delhi, S. Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Shri Kapil Mishra to deliberate on the preparations for the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji here yesterday.
Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka, leading a distinguished DSGMC delegation along with fellow members, stated that meaningful and constructive discussions were held to ensure that this historic and sacred occasion is observed with the highest degree of reverence, devotion, and magnificence.
He further emphasized, “The 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji is not merely a commemoration, but a profound reminder of the eternal values of sacrifice, faith, and courage.Delhi sikh Gurdwara Mangement Committee efforts are directed towards ensuring that this milestone is remembered as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.”
Kalka also assured that meticulous preparations are underway so that the global Sikh community, as well as devotees from all walks of life, may join in paying homage to the unparalleled sacrifice of the Ninth Guru, who laid down his life for the defense of religious freedom and human dignity.
