The chief of Punjab’s vigilance department has been suspended.

In a significant move, the Punjab government has suspended SPS Parmar, the Chief of Punjab Vigilance, due to his involvement in a driving license scam. Alongside him, an Additional Inspector General (AIG) and a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) have also faced suspension.
