Jalandhar West bypoll sees 54.98% voter turnout

Jalandhar, July 11 (Ozi news desk):   Himanshu Aggarwal, who serves as both the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner, announced that the voter turnout for the bypoll in the Jalandhar West constituency stood at 54.98%. Aggarwal also mentioned that the bypoll was carried out without any disturbances or violent incidents, ensuring a peaceful voting process for the citizens.

Furthermore, he informed that the counting of votes is scheduled to take place on July 13 at Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women, starting at 8 am.Lastly, Aggarwal expressed his gratitude towards the voters, election staff, and security forces for their efforts in contributing to the smooth and successful conduct of the polling process.
