Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, on Friday expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Begum Munawwar-ul-Nisa.
In a press communique issued here, the Speaker stated that Begum Munawwar-ul-Nisa ji was the last Begum of the family of Nawab Sher Khan who raised voice in favor of the younger Sahibzades. Expressing deep grief over the demise of Begum Nisa ji, he said that she will always remain as symbol of respect.
The Speaker prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
