New Delhi, 17-05-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted a major operation against the nexus of terrorists-drug traffickers-gangsters in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh. More than 100 locations were raided in six states of the state.
The counter-terrorism agency, in close coordination with state police forces, conducted the raids in the early hours of Wednesday at premises and other places linked to the suspects. The raid is still going on. The raids are being conducted in connection with three separate cases – RC 37, 38, 39/2022/NIA/DLI – registered by the NIA last year.
According to the information so far, this raid is being conducted in the case of Khalistani terrorists and terror funding. Raids are going on in many places of Bathinda, Moga, Ferozepur in Punjab.
The police record of the suspects is also being checked. Punjab Police is conducting raids at 150 places separately.
