तरनतारन जिले के गाँव बैंकाँ में रहने वाली गुरजिंदर कौर ने आज सुबह अपनी 8 साल की बेटी और 5 साल के बेटे को साथ लेकर छलांग लगा दी।
नहर पर मछुआरों ने तुरंत बेटी को बचा लिआ। एसपी (जांच) विश्वजीत सिंह ने कहा कि लड़के का शव मिला है, लेकिन महिला की लाश तेज बहाव को कारण पानी मेँ बह गई।
